A moment of sanity!
This morning I decided to let life slow down a little, I am forgoing the shower (for a while) I am letting the piles of laundry go (for a while) I am letting the oatmeal ferment on the table and the dog can eat later! This week, to say the least, has been absolutely nuts! This school year I took on a lot more responsibility and I've been happy to do it, but I've really had to get organized. I'm so grateful for Monday, it's really my most favorite day of the week. I know that it's usually the most hated, but between Enoch and me, we really, really appreciate a night to spend with the whole family. Enoch gave a beautiful fhe on Monday about the plan of happiness. The children were intrigued and the discussion went on for a long time. I sat in amazement of my husband as he gave the lesson, and I fell in love with him all over again. It just reminded me of the time we spent teaching the 8 years olds in primary when we were first married. He impressed me so much and I just fell in love with his patience and love for children. He would never say that he's patient, but he is. Anyway, I digress, what was I saying? Oh yes, Monday, it was beautiful and relaxed and we had ice cream for dessert. Then came Tuesday, PTO meeting. Then Wednesday, dinner group, which um was really an attempt to help fellowship a friend of mine who is strayed. I love her, and the ladies at dinner group were outstanding in welcoming her, even though she said she didn't like it! It's funny how easy it is judge something you put no work into! Then Thrusday, I was slammed, volunteering in Izzy's class and the spaghetti dinner/talent show had me at the school literally all day. It was absolutely wonderful! The best part about the dinner, I'll give you the highlights, was definitely watching my kids perform. David impressed the audience so much that strange people came over just to video him. Then the crowd went crazy for Izzy. I was beaming and probably screaming way toooooo much. Oh and the art teacher's husband told me that I looked too young to have three children, that made my day. Now it's Friday, and I have a few fun things on the list. After I stop with my moment of sanity, I'm on to all those things mentioned above. Then I am off to go rollerskating with my kids. Life is wonderful and I'm so grateful to be having this adventure!
