Surprise!

Enoch told me a couple of weeks ago that he was planning a surprise. He told me not to ask ANY questions, but just to expect something was coming. So, I decided to actually be patient and really not bug him about it. Well then my really good friend asked me to come over to her house for a play date yesterday and the kids were super excited. I kissed Enoch goodbye in the morning and we went our seperate ways, or so I thought! When I got to my friends house, Enoch was there. Huh? It turns out, he set up babysitting so he could take us to a very special place in the mountains past Laramie. We haven't been there since before we got married and we had been wanting to return for sometime now. So we left our kids with my friend for an all day adventure.

This is on top of the Snowy Range Mountains, 10,000 ft. The lake behind us is Mirror lake and yes that is snow you see. This place has snow on the ground year round. Enoch is very talented, he took that picture with me piggy backing him:)
Because I didn't know about the suprise, I wore sandals. We were trying to find a secret spot we found over 12 years ago and I was determined! Plus I like to impress hubby.

And this is what we came for. 12 years ago we found triangle rock and the secret is now ours (So we think) and we'll never tell where we found it! I love having this secret spot to share with Enoch only!

So what if there's snow on the ground and I have sandals on! I love a challenge and I wasn't about to give up just because there were mounds of snow everywhere. I literally had snow up to my knees at points, but I'm Wyoming tough. Ask Enoch, I actually like pain.
