Back to School!

I loved this weekend including yesterday, which the kids had off. We had a few nerf gun fights, we built legos, we played card games and we had the big birthday bash! I am realizing everyday that my kids will soon not want to do those things and so I'm trying to jam in as much as I can. Elizabeth is growing up the fastest. She's only 18 months younger than David, but since she's a girl, she's maturing and growing ahead of him. It annoys him so bad that she is just as tall, if not taller, than him. Anyway, last night I made the kid's lunches because I didn't want this morning to be rushed. I wanted to help make beds, do hair and say prayers. I wanted to just slow down and enjoy them before they left. Elizabeth groaned as she hugged me, like she didn't want to leave and then as they walked down the sidewalk, they waved until I couldn't see them anymore. It is really quite precious. I will miss them today! But on the bright side, Enoch is at home (he's sleeping) and soon he'll be up and we'll get to spend quiet time together. Yay!
